Wade- Owner-HEad Stylist-Makeup Artist

Wade has worked all over the world from Newcastle to New York. He started his hair and makeup career in 2004. Trained by the best, Wade has competed nationally and Internationally receiving accolades such as IHS Australian Hairdresser of the Year and two times Oceanic Grand Master with over 120 trophies and accolades Wade is one of the most awarded Hairdressers in Australia. Wade expanded his portfolio and experience working for some of Australia's biggest brands and working backstage with celebrities such as Lady Gaga, David Guetta and Kelly Rowland

KARL- Owner-HEad COLOURIST

Karl whom is originally from Adelaide, moved to NSW in 2010 to study makeup artistry, soon after completing his course he moved to Sydney to build his book working big australian brands

Karl's Passion is colour and is an expert in colour correction. Karl also is a Maestro in High end Beauty Photography where his work has been published in magazines such as Cosmo,Grazia & Vogue Italia. In 2011 Karl started hairdressing at one of Sydney's high end Day Spa's and progressed to opening up shop in Newcastles CBD

Taneisha- manager,
senior stylist & Makeup Artist

Shannon- head stylist

Taneisha's joined us in 2018 and in no time we discovered her organisation skills paired with her passion for hair made her an intergral part of the wak team

Taneisha is a perfectionist and has worked on many photoshoots and weddings and is also a fully qualified makeup artist

Shannon is an all-rounder and has you covered on all bases to do with your hair. starting her career in 2005 shannon has just entered her 15th year in the industry.

Shannon started her training in newcastle and then moved on to work in some of sydney's most trendy salons and has since moved back to settle down in newcastle and has found her new hairdressing home at wak the salon

Sean-Senior Stylist + Makeup Artist

Sean HAs been in the Industry for 11 years

HE as a love for all aspects of colour so wether it be a beautiful blonde, a dimensional Brunette or a stunning copper he has you covered

Sean Also has a flair for styling and makeup which has in turn seen Him work on many photoshoots and campaign shoots

Tiah- Senior STYLIST + Head Makeup Artist

Tiah has been with wak the salon since 2017 and has gone from strength
to strength. she has an amazing skillset in Not only hair but is also our head makeup artist.

Tiah has worked at multiple fashion weeks and
advertising campaigns for australian brands and has had her work featured in magazines nationally and internationally
